♪Compositions

Two favorites from my own writing.

Babylonia

A deep exploration of polyrhythms. A steady grid of eighth notes phrases into interlocking groups of 2, 3, 4, and 5, so the full cycle repeats in multiples of 60, the base of the Babylonian number system. Score here.

Lullaby and Dream

A microtonal neoclassical piano piece in a tuning near 31 edo, played on the Lumatone. The tuning bends the familiar layout toward pure, justly tuned intervals.

♭Day Job

I build audio software at Sound Radix.

Radical1 synthesizer interface
Sound Radix
Radical1

A vivid and colorful additive synthesizer. Sculpt, bend, and animate harmonics into expressive, evolving sounds.
